final draft

There are a lot of reasons why you would not want to live in a slum it would be because of the over crowdness, it being dirty, and lastly the slim resources. A slum is an area where lots of people live and are very dirty. Slums have an effect on human populations they are very dirty, very overcrowded, and the slim chance for not so much resources. The slums are very dirty becaue no one mainatins them clean.

Slums have an effect on human populations because they are very unsanitay and are very dirty. The reasons for this is because no one keeps or maintains them clean. If everyone pitched in the place would not look so bad nor the area would be so much not smelly. The reason it could be bad for the economy would be because people get sick and then die from the surroundings.

The second effect that a slum would have on human population would be that the limit of space per person or shack. The area in one small house it sometimes is not even a house either the place is so overcrowded. It also could be the limit of space per person is very small especially if they are thousands. It will not be a good environment for those with big families.

The third effect on a slum on human populations would be the slim chance of resources being possible for everyone to have. The reason this would be bad the population would go down because people will go through starvation and thirst. It is supposed to be making the popualation go down then. We do not want that for people to die.

In conclusion there are lots of reasons why would you not want to live in a slum the over crowdness, it being dirty, and the slim chance for resources. The population might go down we do not want that and also because of the food and water. Just think how people live their lives every single day who live in slums how would it be.

rough draft

Slums are very crowded with thousands of people, dirty, and the resources are very slim. A slum is an area

that where lots odf people live and are very dirty. Slums have an effect on human populations are very dirty,

very overcrowded, and have very slim resources to live for. The slums are very dirty because no one

maintains them clean.

Slums have an effect on human populations because they are very unsanitary and are very dirty. The reasons

for this because no one keeps or maintains them clean. If everyone helped out one by one the place maybe

would not look so dirty or bad. The reason it could be bad for the economy would be in a way not good,

because if it is really unsanitary lots and lots of people will get sick. The result for this would be lots of people

will die because of the conditions of the area.

The second effect that slums have on human populations is that they have very limited space. The area is very

cramped up in one small shack well a house. Except some of the houses do not have much space especially

if you are a large family like an example 8. The reason this could be bad is if there is not a lot of space then

how will this be productive country or city; town. The place is very small and will not be good for some

people with large families.

The third effect on a slum on human populations would be the slim chance for resources. The reason for this

is because since the place is very poor. It will be hard to get all those resources. The water you might have to

walk miles just to find the nearest well or a river. The water might be contaminated and then people might

end up getting sick. It will be hard for lots of people also food if you have enough money then you will be

able to find some if not then people will find anything they can.

In conclusion why would you want to live in area if it is dirty, very overcrowded, and also has very slim

resources. The three effects that effect human populations on a slum are dirty, overcrowdings, and the slim

resources found. The reason for these effects it can make the populations go down because of the

contaminations. Another reason would be the river water can very unsanitary killing the person who drinks

the water. Lastly the crowding is very hard chance for the space needed per person. Just think about how

many people live in a slum and how they live their lives every day .

Introduction Paragraph

The first effect a slum has on the human population is that they are dirty. The reason why is because no one maintains them clean and are all used by everyone. For an example a slum is an overcrowded area where lots of people live, so which means that millions or thousands use the same toilet. The thing that is explainable is that some do not have indoor plumbing or at all an area to do your business. Another reason would be the sewage treatment the quote says, "And you can smell. A few steps into Kiberia, we encounter brown-green water flowing through an open ditch." The slums could also be dirty by the millions pieces of trash or people who litter. The reason for this is so many people live here they can not afford to pay someone to clean for them. It should not mean though that you can clean it up yourself maintain the area where you live in. This also has to do with the place being so overcrowded and the little space everyone has.

outline for thesis statement

Why would people want to live in a cramped up place and with little resources to live for? A slum is a run down area of a city characterized by poor housing ,and lack of security slums are overcrowded. Three effects that slums have on human populations are slums are dirty, they are a small area to live, and the resources are slim. The slum is a very dirty place to live in because lots of people share the area and also share the things neccesary.

Slums are a dirty area to live in because, they are shared by hundreds maybe even thousands that you do not even know, if they are people who maintain themselves clean. "And the slum is very dirty, you can see" "And you can smell. A few steps into Kiberia, we encounter brown green water flowing through an open ditch" This person what he is saying the sewage teatment is very poor here and it is not clean. Since no one does it will stay dirty. Slums are including very small they are crowded and small houses.

Slums are very cramped up place especially if you are alot of people living in the same slum. "There are probably as many people living here as there are in San Francisco, packed into housing few Americans could fathom." This quote is saying that slums are indeed very small and is very cramped up with alot of americans. Lastly slums is not a good area to live in because the resourcres are very slim. "Musanga and her family have no toilet" In this quote it shows how this resource is needed because where will her in laws children and herself go to the restroom.

In conclusion like I said in my introduction why would people want to live in a cramped up place with little resources to live for? Three effects that slums have on human populations are slums are dirty, they are a small area to live in, and the resources are slim. In slums clearly summarized now explains that slums are not a good area to live in because cramped people live in the same house. Another the sewage treatment is not cleaned by anyone responsible. Lastly the resources like some do not even have enough access to water. Just think about it how would it be for a person you know to live in a slum relative, friend, even yourself.
